Spent this day in the Bay catching some Capitol Corridors mostly starting here at this crossing in Santa Clara not too far from Great America hence the name and the nearby Levi's Stadium. After here, I continued north towards Oakland each catch. I was also hoping that I'd catch a train with a JPBX unit on it. I didn't make it to film this crossing when it had dual Safetran Mechanical Bells which were replaced not too long ago with the current General Signals Type 3 Electronic Bells here now unfortunately. This crossing also features RSI Styled LEDs on the other side in one light head on the across side median signal which are rare used by UP as UP briefly used RSI Styled LEDs across the Bay Area in the 2000s to early 2010s same scenario with GS LEDs and Dialight LEDs they have used briefly. I ended up not setting up on that side because I immediately put my tripod down in filming position on this side as I had to find somewhere to take a leak and I was also unaware 523 comes through around this time so I just settled for this side and moved on after filming this crossing as I didn't want to stay at the same crossing for another train as it would mess up my flow for the day and will just save filming from the other side for another time to show the RSI LED. This crossing also had a GE Pixilated Look Dotted LEDs light added not to long ago also on the other side in one light head not to long before the mechanical bells were replaced here.

Amtrak California Capitol Corridor Train 523 southbound on the UP Coast Sub passes through the Great America Way railroad crossing in Santa Clara, California arriving at the Station at the end where you can also see the station's pedestrian crossing.
