Yo, what’s good, everyone?
This week has been absolutely insane—non-stop grinding with embroidery orders, graduation photos, website updates, and meetings that have me running on fumes. I’ve been up until 2 AM almost every night for the past week and a half, except Sundays when I try to crash early to recharge. In this video, I’m beyond excited to share a huge step forward: we’re launching a hat blank company under TshirtTube, and it’s just the beginning of some big moves.
I’m diving into the process of turning TshirtTube into a full-on apparel hub, not just for retail but also for wholesale. We’re starting with unbranded hats snapbacks, priced at just $5 to keep it affordable. Right now, we’ve got 54 color variations live on the site—everything from two-tone combos like yellow and black to camo and solid colors. I’m also working on adding trucker hats, Decki hats, and eventually our own TshirtTube-branded blanks. The vision is to make it super easy and cost-effective for creators to grab our blank hats, embroider them with their own designs, and kickstart their brands. Having everything in-house means faster production times and lower costs for everyone. I’m still figuring out bulk discounts in Shopify—might set a deal for orders over a dozen—so bear with me as I tweak the system.
On top of that, we’re launching four new hat brands: Ballvek, Lexon, Rexclo, and Tundrix. Each one’s got its own vibe and logo, and you’ll see me stitch them up in the video. The first 100 hats for each brand are special—they’re getting custom patches with “#1 of 100” (and so on), plus tags that say “Made by KenyonKen” (that’s my embroidery machine, by the way). These tags go inside the sweatband, hidden but meaningful, marking the origin story of each brand. I’m thinking long-term—those first 100 hats could be collectibles one day. You’ll also catch me practicing sewing patches because, real talk, I’m still leveling up my skills. It’s not perfect, but we’re getting it done.
This is more than just hats—it’s about building something from the ground up. Down the line, these brands will expand into t-shirts, hoodies, and more, and I’m already planning to establish our own supply chain so we don’t rely on other companies.
