Description
What happens when religious rulings appear to conflict with a decision made by Rasool Allah ﷺ himself?
In this discourse, Sayyidi Younus AlGohar examines the events surrounding Bagh e Fadak, the distinction between Khilafat and hereditary rule, and controversial episodes from early Islamic history.
Sayyidi challenges commonly accepted historical narratives and asks whether later interpretations can ever take precedence over the actions and authority of Rasool Allah ﷺ.
The discourse ultimately returns to the question of recognising truth: if Muslims could not distinguish truth from falsehood at Karbala, what criterion do they possess today for recognising Imam Mehdi?
Watch the full discourse for Sayyidi’s perspective on Bagh e Fadak, early Islamic history, and the need to recognise truth beyond inherited narratives.
