In today’s episode, I’m in Vantaa, Finland, taking on not one but TWO challenges at Mike’s Diner... Their Quadruple Burger Challenge and their Inferno Burger Challenge, one of the spiciest burgers I’ve ever attempted!
Mike’s Diner is an American-style burger restaurant known for serving massive gourmet burgers, loaded fries, thick milkshakes, and other American inspire foods. With its classic diner atmosphere and reputation for creative, over-the-top menu items, Mike’s has become a must-visit destination for both locals and travelers in the Helsinki area, Mike’s Diner delivers a fun dining experience and some seriously big American style portions.
The Quadruple Burger Challenge features four Finnish beef smash patties stacked with three layers of nacho chips, two fried eggs, pickled jalapeños, cheese, salsa, and crispy strips of bacon. The entire burger is then smothered in nacho cheese sauce and served with your choice of fries on the side. You must also finish a flavored milkshake and a 1-liter soft drink of your choice. This is a pay-to-play challenge costing €39.90 whether you win or lose. If you can finish everything, you’ll earn a €20 gift certificate, and a spot on Mike’s Diner’s Wall of Fame.
For the Spicy Inferno Burger challenge it features a burger with their spicy inferno sauce, fries on the side, and a 1-liter soft drink... That's pretty much all I know about it and that it's insanely spicy!
