. Tatkal applicants, parents of newborns and senior citizens can walk in without an appointment
. Passport renewal starts from Dh477 (including all service charges)
. No extra fees for photocopying, form filling or photography
. Alhind says the entire process will take just 30 minutes
The move comes as a major relief for thousands of Indian expats who faced passport renewal delays during the peak summer travel season.
