Description
So this was one of the big days out I had from my first time visiting Japan back in September with my Dad where we stayed for 2 weeks, first week in Tokyo for the first half and then then the last one in Kyoto, and one of those days in Kyoto we went out to spend a day at this legendary race track, where many iconic moments have taken place over the years, especially as the circuits main hosting of the Japanese Grand Prix. We went to this track just expecting to enjoy the day, as we didn't think there would be much track action, but much to our joy there was! As there seemed to be a special track day for various race cars spread out, from single seaters to GT/Sports Cars.
We initially sat in an outdoor grandstand just off the last corner, but later we came back after lunch to sit in the main grandstand down the start-finish-straight with the big cover over it, and man the sounds of the cars bouncing off the walls and the grandstand gave me chills, and almost in awe of how stunning and grand this circuit is. If the opportunity comes up again, I would love to come back to this circuit again, and one I really hope others get a chance to if you haven't yet.
