Sometimes people do inexplicable things that put them in potentially grave danger like the person in this video who fools around with something on the track right in front of an accelerating train less than a hundred yards away. This is not only hazardous for that person; it also makes train crews freak out as they understand best what can happen if things go terribly wrong. The train is loaded coal train C904-24 and this scene played out near the depot in Athens, GA. Other stories told in this video include local train L756-30 running around his train at the feed mill in Comer, GA, where he also ties down. It is also at Howie, where we meet M280-30 for the first time. Chasing him to the west side of Athens, GA we see him again in Athens and in Statham, GA. This great location allows for superb long shots downhill in western direction, which is why we stay here for the northbound grain train G315-28 that terminates in Athens.
