Description
A "28" 110V AC ceiling fan" of unknown brand or OEM installed in the living room. All things considered, this actually holds its own fairly well. It's on the loud side, but otherwise is actually kind of impressive. It puts out a strong breeze directly underneath it and it does have enough carry to disperse around the room. It wasn't much, but air could be felt moving across the floor and up in front of the couch. This would likely be completely satisfactory for heat destratification.
Only time will tell how long the unit will last, but for $20, I consider this perfectly satisfactory. If you're on a budget and this is all you can afford, it will move air and make you feel more comfortable. And apparently it will do so in a pretty large space.
As far as aesthetics are concerned, it's not bad there either. If it weren't for the blue accents, this would look like a regular industrial fan at a quick glance.
