This is a 2017 Cadillac XT5 Key fob programming and key cutting.
I am showing you how to program your new key fob if you don't have an active key fob or if you only have 1 key fob that works. If you have 2 working key fob, it would be a different procedure to add a 3rd key fob.
After you're done programming your key fob, you will need to take it to a Locksmith to have the emergency key cut, it takes 10 mins for the Locksmith to cut the keys. If you have the Locksmith come to you on their mobile vehicle, they will charge more for that service. I went into their store and I called ahead for a quote before I came in.
Overall, this was cheaper than going to the dealership or having a mobile Locksmith come to my house to do.
