Description
This is a short video from my recent trip to Mexico City. We went to Xochimilco to ride the gondalas. Located about an hour drive from the heart of Mexico City, these canals wind through the water system and are filled with brightly coloured boats.
We hired the entire boat for an hour and it was a fun ride through the canals, with vendors playing music, selling food, and a general party atmostphere.
Reading up on this experience prior to going, I heard it described as a "tourist trap". It was far from it, a really fun experience and well worth the trip.
