Worth the Upgrade? DJI Osmo 360 version 1 vs 2

FlytPath Review 19 days ago

Description

DJI’s Osmo 360 launched in July 2025 missing the one feature almost everyone wanted: a replaceable lens like the Insta360 X5. Today, the Osmo 360 version 2 finally adds a DIY swappable lens kit, plus 8K 60fps, 4K 240 slow motion, and 8K 60fps Super Night. Weight stays almost identical at 185g versus 184g, and both still have a dual 1/1.1-inch sensors at f/1.9. This video covers design changes, DJI Mic 3 audio, Spotlight Follow, 105 GB internal storage, the larger 2150 mAh battery, NFC pairing, and IP68 limits. I also flag the odd single-lens downgrade from 5K on V1 to 4K on V2. If you already own the first Osmo 360, the upgrade mainly makes sense when lens damage is a real risk.

* Thanks to DJI for sponsoring this video and sending me the Osmo360 II to test and review in Vancouver.
