Insta360 just dropped a major firmware update (version v1.0.283) for the Luna Ultra that addresses several of the biggest early complaints. In this video I compare the old and new firmware side-by-side to show the new I-log Color Recovery, improved head tracking that now works when the camera is upside down, and much smoother zoom performance. You’ll also see how much faster the touchscreen remote responds and the claimed power consumption optimizations. I walk through every key improvement with real-world tests so you know exactly what changed. If you own the Insta360 Luna Ultra, make sure to update your app and firmware as soon as it rolls out to you. Drop a like if this helped and let me know in the comments which fix you’re most excited about!
* Thanks to Insta360 for sponsoring this video by sending me the Luna Ultra to test and compare.
