Let’s talk about the new AI features in WordPress 7.0. I know the hype suggests this release is all about AI, but I'm here to tell you that this is not quite the truth, especially from an end-user's perspective.
Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of effort, time, money, and passion going into the AI backbone. This is clearly the future of WordPress as a relevant tool for you, me, and the developers. It's coming along in leaps and bounds; it's just that most of it isn't available to the regular front-end user (and when I say front-end, I mean having tools in the admin dashboard to actually do stuff with AI).
Given all the hype around 7.0 being this massive AI release, I thought I'd do a recap of where we are actually at.
