Description
Tony Peterson and his black lab, Sadie, dog sled 10 miles deep into Minnesota's national forest to winter camp and hunt ruffed grouse. Mushers Sean McCarty of Hauling Dogs and Paige May of White Wilderness pack them in, then leave Tony and Sadie on their own for three days. With mornings down to 5 below, the birds stay tucked in snow roosts and Tony has to cover miles of big woods just to cut a fresh track.
