I've always had this old favourite of mine on this channel but it was a kinda naff version that had been cut top and bottom and zoomed in to make it fit a 16:9 screen (I hate it when they do that) but it was all that was available for decades that was at least in half decent quality...
So I was delighted when back at the end of 2022 they finally released an official version upscaled to Full HD but kept in the original & correct 4:3 aspect ratio, well you'd think I would be delighted but alas they simply took the old SD version and upscaled it and never bothered to sharpen it up to enhance the detail for HD so it was/ is kinda soft n blurry... 😕
Should have known better I suppose... Ah well, finally I got round to taking the Full HD version and sharpening it up as it deserved to be and fixed the transitions between each cut scene (something else they didn't bother to do !!!), not forgetting of course remastering the audio soundtrack to make that nice, sharp & clean too... 😎
So finally I'm now happy with a "perfect" version of one of the best classic music anthems of the 70's (and of all time)... hope you enjoy it too...😊
