There are some videos where the grain should never be removed from them as it adds to the atmosphere and style of the video and that for me is the case with this particular one...
The HD "Official" version has had so much grain removed that face details are lost and look plasticky as well as things like the powdery snow the horse kicks up is almost gone, so it was time for me to remedy that and upscale the original to full HD but keeping the grain while sharpening up the visuals...
Tis OMD with one of my all time favourites of theirs "Maid Of Orleans" from 1981...
A lot of people mistakenly think this is called "Joan Of Arc" but that was a different single by OMD and this one really is called "Maid Of Orleans", so no saying "na, na, nana, na you got the title wrong" cos if you do I'll skelp you round the napper with a bagful of used squirrels... 🤓
