Something simple to try and work the rust off after being away for so long. This was always one of my favorite tunes from Final Fantasy VI. Not much to it, but it's fun to play.
I tried out a few new things with this one:
- I'm trying some new things to beef up percussion. My one rule is that all sounds have to originate from the uke, so drums can get interesting.
- A new mic! My old mic isn't compatable with my new phone so I tried a different one... I hate it. Already ordered a replacement.
- New flat-wound strings on the U-Bass. I love these things! They make the bass sound so cool! Unfortunately the aformentioned mic doesn't pick them up well at all.
Hopefully I'll be able to start uploading a bit more regularly this year. I have lots of songs prepared, but recording and editing is always a pain.
