Another Koji Kondo classic!
This one's been on my to-do list for quite a while. Well. Lots of songs have, but the whole pandemic/social distance thing hasn't been great for creative motivation, so I've been away for a while.
I picked up a banjolele on a whim, as they've always seemed like a fun instrument. When I tried out this song, it just seemed to be a perfect fit, and it turned out to be just the inspiration I needed to finally sit down and start recording again.
The banjolele on it's own was a bit much, so I ended up doubling it with a regular tenor uke to even things out. It definitely seemed to give the final mix a fuller sound.
Hopefully it won't be quite as long 'till the next video this time. Enjoy!
