Description
Your beats are lined up and the tracks are similar, so why does the mix still sound muddy? It's almost always two basslines playing at once. In this lesson I show you what's going wrong, then two ways to fix it: the classic bass EQ swap DJs have used for decades, and a newer, cleaner way using stems, which you'll now find even in free software like Serato DJ Lite on entry-level controllers.
Listen on speakers or good headphones, or you'll miss the difference.
