WHY DID WE MOVE AND A PEEK INSIDE OUR NEW HOME 🏡

Why we moved house 🏠 (and a sneak peek inside our new home).
I’ve had lots of people ask why we moved from our lovely home that we’d spent 9 years literally changing from top to bottom.
There’s no huge, insightful reason to be honest. We love a good house browse, we have always looked online even when there wasn’t any intention of us moving. And over the last year or so we have just felt like we’d like a new project, we loved renovating our last home and felt like we had another project in us. We’ve also both always wanted to live in an older home with a bit more character. We looked, but not seriously for ages as we had quite specific requirements, and then we found a house we liked that was enough to make us start the process, but that one wasn’t meant to be. Then we found our new home and fell in love with it, it’s been so lovingly looked after, and we could just see huge potential. That’s kind of it really, nothing groundbreaking.
It’s going to be a slow renovation, we want to live in it a while first, as we have no idea what our style is in an old home, as of course we are used to modern ones. But we are so excited to turn this beautiful old house into our family home. 🤍
