Started the day in our special house full of happy memories and ended it in a new one that hopefully in time we’ll love just as much.
I find it a bit surreal that one day you can just shut to door for the last time on a place that quite literally has contained your entire life for nine years, then an hour or so later there is someone else in fee starting their new chapter in the walls that contain so many memories.
I started off the day feeling relaxed and chilled (big mistake 😆) and then we just got more and more behind. By the time the solicitor rang us to tell us we’d completed the house was in chaos. But we got there in the end.
