Some moments aren’t about entertainment.
They’re about history.
When former President Donald Trump arrived in Atlanta to be booked at the Fulton County Jail, people from every perspective came together outside. Some supported him. Others protested against him. Regardless of where they stood politically, everyone understood that history was unfolding.
As a documentary filmmaker, my responsibility isn’t to pick sides—it’s to document what happened.
While covering the scene, I had the opportunity to speak with Young Thug’s father, who shared his thoughts about his son’s ongoing legal battle and the importance of standing beside family during difficult times.
That conversation reminded me of something.
It’s easy to support people when they’re winning… when they’re on stage… when they’re in the club… when everything is exciting.
The real test of loyalty is showing up when life gets difficult.
Whether it’s a courtroom, a jail, a hospital, or a community in crisis, those are the moments that reveal who truly stands beside you.
That’s why I continue to document Atlanta.
Not just the celebrations…
But the moments that become history.
The story is told by those who show up.
