Description
Continuing our deep dive into the Philips LSB 400 vintage bookshelf speakers! 🕵️♂️ In this part of the teardown, we take a closer look at the most suspicious component – the tweeter. As I point directly at the driver and the camera zooms in for an extreme close-up, you can clearly see the unusual, solid-looking surface of the center cone. Is it a real high-frequency driver, or did Philips install a cheap plastic dummy to make these budget speakers look better? Does this look like real HiFi equipment or total trash to you?
