Maya is the illusion of separation, maya is created in the mind and creates the illusion that everything and everyone is separate and in dependant from each other and the world. The whole goal of a spiritual seeker is self realisation. To realise the truth of what we are beyond who we believe to be and in doing so dissolve the illusion of separation. The illusion of separation is what causes us un necessary suffering. This realisation is not of the mind but a direct realisation which changes the way we perceive ourself and the world. One consciousness expressing itself through its power to create. We are all unique expression of that one same consciousness. This realisation changes the way we perceive ourself and the world and changes the way we live, how we interact with others and brings us a deep inner peace and wisdom.
