Introductions like these aren’t about instant friendship. They’re about observation, choice, and gathering information. African Greys and Amazons communicate differently, process new situations differently, and often move at very different emotional speeds. In this video, I explain what I was watching for, how I structured the interaction, and what Rico’s reactions told me.
