In this video, we follow Joe and his daughter Katie (and granddaughter MacKenzie) as they work together to train Tweety for outdoor freeflight.
But this journey became about much more than teaching a parrot to fly.
Joe had shared a deep love of birds with his wife, who passed away years ago. Through Tweety and the freeflight community, he found a way to reconnect with something that had always meant so much to him—and a community of people who shared that same passion.
For Joe and Katie, training Tweety became something they could experience together, too.
This is a story about a bird, a father and daughter, learning something new together, and finding community through the incredible world of freeflight. ❤️
