We Tested 6 Gravel Bikes. Here's What We'd Actually Buy.

VeloVeloVelo Podcast 11 days ago

Description

Six gravel bikes. Three riders. One brutal 100 km ride through British Columbia's Sea to Sky corridor.

For the final episode of our 2027 Gravel Field Test, we're putting six very different gravel bikes through a proper day in the saddle. From steep gravel climbs and technical singletrack to fast pavement and rough descents, this route has a little bit of everything.

But which bikes actually make sense when you put them to the test?

After hundreds of kilometers of riding and a series of head-to-head challenges, Mike Levy, Josh, and Logan sit down to debate what the future of gravel bikes really looks like.

Are bigger wheels the answer? Does suspension belong on gravel bikes? Are we sacrificing too much capability in the pursuit of speed?

And most importantly, which of these six bikes would each tester actually take home?
