Description
This episode from our "What's Happening" series of opera arias focuses on eight famous and important 'moments' from Wagner's Ring. Both orchestral and sung, the video features all four of the Ring operas: Das Rheingold, Die Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung.
The ca. 40-minute episode features first a voice-over segment explaining "what's happening" both in terms of the plot and musically, before presenting each moment in an extended excerpt. The voiceover is presented with English subtitles, the sung texts with combined subtitles of both original German and English translation.
