What was meant to be a dream vacation ended in heartbreak.
A speedboat carrying 32 Indian tourists capsized near Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island after rough weather and powerful waves struck the vessel. Rescue teams managed to save 21 people, but sadly, 15 Indian tourists lost their lives.
The victims' mortal remains were later flown from Ho Chi Minh City to Mumbai, where grieving families awaited their final return. Vietnamese authorities have launched an investigation and detained the boat captain to determine whether negligence or safety violations contributed to the tragedy.
