Farmers Gather in Delhi Against Proposed India–US Trade Dea
Thousands of farmers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and other states have gathered in Delhi to protest against the proposed India–US Trade Agreement.
Farmers fear that cheaper agricultural imports could affect their income and livelihoods. They are demanding that the government reject any trade terms that may negatively impact India's agriculture sector. Although negotiations between India and the United States are still ongoing, no final agreement has been signed.
