Beschreibung
The regular underwater cleanups in the city harbour of Eckernförde (Germany) were initiated in 2020
by Sönke Staack and local recreational divers. They take place monthly between april and september of each year since then. The municipality and municipal utilities of Eckernförde, touristic organisations, Baltic Sea information center, several local companies and other water sports clubs take part as supporters and sponsors. The monetary donations collected during cleanups are forwarded to different regional charities
