Typical ogee bits just stack a bead on top of a cove…one curve starting exactly where the first ends. Our Table Edge Ogee Bits create a more interesting look with an extension before the second curve begins. On tables and shelves this creates a shadow detail and lightens the appearance. On routed bowls you can create a foot that elevates the bowl above the table, making it look more finished.
