Description
Fish supplies at Umm Al Quwain Fish Market remain steady despite a temporary halt on local fishing after an oil spill affected the emirate’s coastline.
Vendors say daily deliveries from Oman are keeping most common varieties available, reassuring customers who feared supplies could run out or be affected by pollution.
While local fish is currently unavailable, prices may vary depending on the type and quantity available. Authorities have asked fishermen to avoid affected waters as clean-up and environmental assessments continue.
