While Lyoneaux joins Chester and Letigre at the Tonnerre family camp to train their prized fighting rooster, Jacque the Cock, for a high-stakes showdown against Cuban champion Jorge Grande in Pasquale's underground rooster fighting ring, trouble is brewing back at Pyramid Stop.
After losing big at the casino, Chauz is pressured by Mumroux's henchgator, Cocomeaux, into surrendering one of the Tonnerre family's most treasured possessions—Old Papaw's knife—as payment for his gambling debt.
Seeing an opportunity to settle an old score, Mumroux offers Lyoneaux a deal: the family knife in exchange for the long-disputed Magnalite pot that Old Papaw borrowed years ago and never returned.
What begins as a simple trade quickly erupts into an all-out brawl inside Pyramid Stop, where Mumroux's chemically enhanced temper threatens to burn the entire roadside casino and truck stop to the ground.
In the end, Lyoneaux sacrifices his hard-earned rooster fight winnings—carried in his trusty Crown Royal bag—to help Chauz clear his debt and keep the family together. Humbled by Lyoneaux's generosity, Chauz makes a promise he'll probably regret: he's quitting gambling for good.
