Here's the penultimate vid, a double feature, for Saint Argus's forthcoming album, 'Mariana.' Neither of these tunes were in the original session (elucidated in the description of 'Icarian'), prompting fresh ideas. Supported by and featuring nimble guitar and vocal acrobatics, "Descent" weaves its way through a plethora of genres and moods, calling for a variety in approaches: modern/progressive (1:09), tom-tom-driven slogs (2:04), lounge-y jazz (3:53), bossa nova (4:27), etc. There's a brief drum feature at 6:12. "Last Known Photograph" is a beautiful, wistful instrumental piece. The dynamics are fittingly subdued throughout. Related side note, but these tunes won't be besides one another in the final album sequence.
