Description
Having enjoyed breakfast at our comfortable Poznań hotel our tour group gathered ready to make its way to the town's main station to catch a PKP IC train to the impressive Wrocław Główny (main station). Wrocław with a population of around 640,000 people is the third-largest city in Poland, it's an attractive city located on the Odra river and it's home to Poland's third oldest tram system with a track gauge of 4ft 8 ½ in (1,435 mm). The network consists of 25 lines with a total track length of 84 kilometres, six depots and 20 turnback loops.
