Description
On May 24th, 2016 a prolific tornado producing supercell developed southwest of Dodge City, Kansas. A large tornado tracked just west of the town and crossed highway 50, but luckily it spared the town from a direct hit. Two of the tornadoes that day were rated as EF3 tornadoes. At times, there were multiple tornadoes on the ground simultaneously. Our tour group saw a rare sight on this date as a cyclical supercell produced tornado after tornado.
