Description
Months before Too Short surprised fans onstage with Jay-Z at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Lalaa Shepard asked the West Coast legend if he might pop out for Jay-Z’s upcoming LA shows.
His response? “I might get the phone call.” 👀
Fast-forward to Jay-Z’s second night at SoFi Stadium, and Too Short actually joined Hov onstage, performing his classic “Blow the Whistle” in front of the Los Angeles crowd! 🔥
During our original Skipping Class interview, Too Short also reflected on his history with Jay-Z and explained how their collaborations came together. He spoke about already being a platinum-selling artist when a younger generation of future legends including Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie and Snoop Dogg entered the game, and why so many artists personally reached out to him for features.
Too Short also discussed being part of an extremely rare group of artists with collaborations involving Jay-Z, Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
