Today is officially the day.
25 years ago today, Sarah and I opened the doors to Tight Lines Fly Fishing Co. — full of equal parts excitement and fear, and absolutely no idea what the next quarter century would hold.
I made this little video the other day after thinking about how all of this really happened… and it honestly stopped me in my tracks. What started as a small dream between two people who just loved being on the water somehow turned into a real business, a real community, and a real life.
We are beyond grateful. Grateful for our family who supported us when this was just an idea. Grateful for our friends who believed in us before we even believed in ourselves. And most of all, grateful for every single one of you — the anglers, the clients, the shop regulars, the river friends — who have trusted us, shared stories with us, and kept this dream alive for 25 years.
This little fly shop has given us more than we ever imagined. Friendships. Memories. Meaning. A life built around water, fish, and people we love.
