In a Victorian mansion block in West London, content creator and director Rosie Dart has turned her 45sqm/484sqft split-level apartment into a colourful, character-filled home inspired by mid-century design and her love of vintage antiques. Drawing on her background in film and television, Rosie has carefully curated every corner, combining playful interiors with practical storage solutions. A custom floor-to-ceiling plywood bookcase with a sliding ladder provides generous storage and display space, while a 1950s diner-inspired kitchen makes clever use of every available nook. Upstairs, a mezzanine incorporates a pull-out desk, a raised bed with concealed storage and a compact wardrobe. From the cocooning green bedroom to the butter-yellow bathroom, the apartment brings together vintage finds, bold colour and thoughtful design, creating a distinctly personal home without compromising on function.
