Description
This Japanese home has giant holes in the floor… on purpose!
Designed by architects Saeco Kobayashi and Taishin Shiozaki co-founders of @atelierco, these unconventional pits transform underused vertical space into an office, storeroom, and even a home for a thriving rubber tree. Getting around is quite the balancing act involving ladders, beams, and a dog safety hammock too.
