The Urtopia Carbon Atom is built to be more than just another commuter e-bike.
In this review, we put the Carbon Atom through Electric Bike Report’s full series of real-world tests to see how this carbon fiber SUV-style e-bike performs on pavement, gravel, hills, and everyday rides.
The Carbon Atom features a Toray T1000 carbon fiber frame, 750W rear hub motor, 835Wh battery, 80mm suspension fork, suspension seatpost, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lights, turn signals, and a unique pedal assist system that gives riders two very different ride experiences.
In this review, we cover:
⚡ Speed testing in Class 2 and Class 3 modes
🔋 Real-world range testing
⛰ Hill climbing on Devil’s Backbone
🛑 Brake testing from 20 MPH
🚲 Ride quality, comfort, and handling
🔄 Torque sensor modes vs cadence-based Turbo mode
🔧 Display settings, motor tuning, and customization
🌲 Commuting, gravel riding, and mixed-terrain capability
One of the biggest highlights of the Carbon Atom is its pedal assist system. Eco, Tour, and Boost use torque sensing for a more natural and active ride feel, while Turbo mode uses cadence sensing for a much more relaxed, low-effort experience.
The result is a comfortable, versatile e-bike that can work for commuting, errands, fitness riding, light off-road exploring, and longer recreational rides.
Watch the full review to see how the Urtopia Carbon Atom performed in our testing and whether this carbon fiber SUV-style e-bike deserves a spot on your shortlist.
