LED lighting is often marketed in terms of it's longevity, as compared to incandescent lighting. That's how it's higher price is justified. In this video I discuss how LED lighting often fails, with attention to the capacitors, resistors, ICs, and diodes which act as supporting components to the LED chips themselves. It's important to understand that not all marketing claims for LED lighting is realistic.
