Description
AMC's Interview with the Vampire became a smash-hit series in the wake of its 2022 premiere, but now that the show has been revamped, so to speak, into The Vampire Lestat, the story is being told from a completely different perspective. Although Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) is barely tolerating journalist and newly-made vampire Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) as his new documentarian, tensions between them are only rising — and once Daniel's maker Armand (Assad Zaman) returns, the two team up in a way that no one could've seen coming. Meanwhile, Louis (Jacob Anderson) finds himself distracted by the mysterious waitress Regina, who brings Delainey Hayles back to the series in a surprising way.
Ahead of The Vampire Lestat's AMC premiere, Collider had the opportunity to speak with several members of the cast and crew, including Zaman, Hayles, and Bogosian. In the interview above, the trio discusses their reactions to Armand's apologies to both Lestat and Daniel, how Hayles differentiated her performance as Regina from Claudia, the complicated nature of Armand and Daniel's relationship, and more.
