Today on Neighborhood Car Reviews, we’re taking a detailed look at a 2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupe.
Designed during one of the most important periods in Aston Martin’s modern history, the DB7 helped transform the company during the 1990s. When the V12-powered DB7 Vantage arrived in 1999, it brought significant changes to the DB7 formula, including revised styling, chassis development and an all-new twelve-cylinder powertrain.
By 2003, DB7 production was nearing its conclusion as Aston Martin prepared for the next generation of cars that would include the DB9 and later V8 Vantage.
This particular example gives us a chance to explore one of the final-year DB7 Vantage Coupes and, having previously featured the DB7 Vantage Volante on Neighborhood Car Reviews, complete our look at both major body styles of Aston Martin’s V12-powered grand tourer.
In this review, we’ll take a detailed tour of the exterior, interior, engine compartment, cargo area, features, controls and some of the smaller details that make the DB7 Vantage such an interesting piece of Aston Martin history.
