I met my fiancé on a dating app, and I was receiving so much attention from non-Black men that I could hardly manage the volume. Not chaos. Not games. Genuine, intentional interest.
This isn’t about being “lucky.”
It’s about understanding how online signals: warmth, femininity, emotional ease, lifestyle cues, and racial openness and shape the type of men who pursue you.
Black women do not have to accept the narrative that “apps don’t work for us.”
