In this stream we will discuss the hidden costs of Software Based Music Production. Although plugin instruments and effects may offer an affordable entry into the world of music production, there are a host of long term costs that you need to be willing to manage in order to maintain access to your music. Whether its activation costs from Waves plugins or the complete lack of support from plugins that are obsolete, managing music production software can be a major challenge. During this stream I will share some insights on how I have maintained access to my own software dependent projects over the last 20 years and some of the short comings associated with Software Based Music Production.
