I always enjoy sharing different ways to monetize your digital art and I’ve got a big one for you today! If you’ve ever wondered what your art could look like on custom apparel and what kind of income that could generate for you in a part time or full time capacity (whether that’s DIY’ing everything yourself or using print on demand), we’re covering it ALL today!
In this week’s video, I walk you through the steps of DIY’ing custom apparel at home using the Procolored F13 DTF printer. I had never used a home DTF printer before this, so I was extra aware of how beginner friendly this experience was.
Once you see the process of converting my 6 year old’s artwork into a shirt (🥹), plus my own artwork into sellable items using the printer, we get into the specifics of what kind of income you could expect if this is something you pursue casually or full time, PLUS how that compares to using print on demand instead with full pro + con lists. I had an idea of what those numbers might be, but it still came as a big surprise when I totaled up the final numbers.
