The world premiere of the SUV, revived as the Toyota FJ Cruiser, took place. The new generation was unveiled almost 20 years after the debut of the original "Mini Land Cruiser."
And it truly is a mini Land Cruiser, as it is styled after the new-generation LC Prado J250. Judge for yourself: the cubic body shape, rugged design, massive bumpers, utilitarian, analog-inspired interior, and even two headlight options to choose from: round LEDs in a retro style or rectangular headlights with a modern twist.
Dimensions-wise, the new-generation SUV is more compact than its predecessor: the body length is 4,575 mm versus 4,671 mm. The width is 1,855 mm, the height is 1,960 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,580 mm. Tires are 265/60R18 (Michelin Primacy SUV).
For comparison, the Prado J250 is 4,925 mm long. That is, in terms of dimensions, the new FJ Cruiser 2026 is comparable to the Toyota RAV4 crossover.
