The Manga with the Power of Prophecy “The future I saw” Warns of the Next Great Calamity
Ryo Tatsuki, a former manga artist, is known for her dream predictions of disasters, several of which have come true. Her latest vision warns of a massive mega-tsunami in July 2025, potentially affecting Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

Some people have become famous for their strange ability to predict the future, leaving many both surprised and scared by how accurate they are. From Nostradamus to Baba Vanga, the world has heard stories of mystics whose predictions have come true.

Now, a name from Japan is causing a stir online, and it’s not a fortune teller, but a former manga artist.

Who is Ryo Tatsuki?

Ryo Tatsuki was once known for drawing comics, but now she is more famous for her shocking predictions. Since the 1980s, she has been having dreams about disasters happening around the world. She started writing them down in a dream diary, and in 1999, published a manga called The Future I Saw.

Past predictions that came true

One of her first known predictions was in 1991, when she dreamed about Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. A few months later, he passed away due to AIDS-related illness.

In 1995, she predicted a massive earthquake in Kobe, Japan. Sadly, this came true and killed more than 6,000 people.

Her most well-known prediction, though, came in 2011. She had written that a huge disaster would strike in March 2011. That turned out to be the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, which also caused the Fukushima nuclear crisis.
